Position Summary:
In this role, you will be responsible for developing, managing, producing, evaluating and growing integrated sales and marketing programs that drive pipeline growth and revenue for our Healthcare Sales team. We are looking for a "hands-on" individual who can execute creative campaigns that increase the awareness of Initiate Systems and drive demand for our products and services.

Program development will entail defining the right mix of marketing strategies, tactics and communication methods needed to move prospects and customers through the sales cycle. It will also involve leading content development for program activities.

In this capacity, you will provide content direction and lead development for marketing events, direct response projects and other marketing efforts. For all program activities, you will be responsible for ensuring that messages are on target, and support Initiate's overarching business objectives and go-to-market strategies. You will also work closely with sales management to ensure efforts support their focus areas and meet their needs.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Grow and manage existing marketing programs to drive sales activity and revenue; choosing the right mix of activities to bring leads in and to close the existing pipeline
• Develop new marketing programs, some of which you will execute yourself and others you will manage through outside vendors
• Develop content around primary healthcare applications and marketing programs. Marketing materials may include white papers, slide presentations, online or live seminars, direct mail, brochures, tradeshow materials, etc.
• On occasion, work with outside vendors by providing content direction and overseeing development of direct response projects and marketing events
• Collaborate with and coach content experts speaking at online or in-person events
• Seek out media placements (both advertising and editorial), speaking and exhibiting opportunities
• Manage a budget
• Communicate with sales managers and sales reps regularly for input and feedback
• Communicate with customers to learn about their business issues
• Measure the success of your activities, based on criteria agreed to with your manager

Travel Responsibilities:
• Requires minimal travel-up to 10%

Skills and Experience Requirements:
• 5+ years marketing experience (specifically marketing program experience)
• Proven ability to plan and lead healthcare marketing projects from concept through implementation
• Proven results in managing successful demand-creation programs
• Proven project management experience working with multiple deadlines; and working within budget
• Knowledge of enterprise software products and healthcare applications a plus
• Excellent written, verbal and organizational skills

Educational Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
