We are an expanding startup in the world of proactive information and entertainment systems. Our technology base comes from work at Northwestern University’s Intelligent Information Laboratory (infolab.northwestern.edu) and our team is focused on rapidly scaling our technologies into an exciting set of consumer and business focused applications.

Our primary focus on hiring is agility. We need specific skills and experience, but the ability to ramp up on new functionality and move quickly on ideas is crucial. Our applications, both in terms of front end deployment and back end information gathering and aggregation are all Web-based. All applicants must be able to move fluidly in this environment.

Web Application UI/UX Development:

Interface design and database integration (MySQL). Strong design skills and an understanding of usability. Technical skills should include the obvious:

1. JavaScript
2. AJAX
3. XML
4. php
5. Photoshop

JQuery and Flash skills are a plus.
